Dabboos is an owner-built, community-first brand created by the team behind one of Jeddah’s beloved homegrown names, Shobak & FRN. We entered fried chicken with one goal: raise the standard of fast food by delivering better quality, better consistency, and better value—without compromising on principles.

After a year of trials, we launched and learned the hard way that great intentions aren’t enough; we faced ongoing quality challenges specifically with our bone-in chicken (broast), exhausted every solution we could think of, and made the decision to pause that line until we are 100% certain of what we’re serving.

What remains non-negotiable is our philosophy: we choose higher standards in what goes into our food—frying with high-quality oleic oil, using Himalayan salt across our products (even fries), relying on 100% natural spices, and making sauces with no preservatives.

Even the details matter: our coleslaw is sweetened with organic maple syrup, our signature harissa with Qassim dates syrup, and we offer organic apple juice for kids.
